BUILD-A-FRACTION is a Grade 4 card game for generating equivalent fractions. Players draw digit cards and use them as numerators and denominators, trying to build as many fractions as possible that are equivalent to the target fraction. Each successful construction requires students to reason about multiplicative relationships between numerator and denominator rather than rely on appearance alone.

Use it in a small group when students are practicing equivalent fractions and simplifying relationships.
