CIRCLE OF UNITS

CIRCLE OF UNITS is a Grade 5 measurement game for converting and comparing metric units of length, mass, and volume. Players use cards to create a two-digit quantity, convert it into the unit assigned on the game board, and then compare their converted measurements. Each round therefore asks students to do both a conversion and a comparison rather than treating those skills separately.

Use it for partner work or a small-group station after students have learned common metric relationships.
