DECIMAL DUEL

decimals · comparing decimals to thousandths

Compare decimals and capture cards.

DECIMAL DUEL is a decimal comparison card game for Grades 4–6. Both players flip a decimal card, compare the values, and the greater decimal wins the pair, with ties leading to another comparison. Repeated rounds give students lots of practice reading tenths, hundredths, and thousandths and deciding which place matters first.

Use it for partner review when students need fluency comparing decimals without a long worksheet. Require players to say why one decimal is greater so place value reasoning stays visible.
