I Am a Hero

I Am a Hero is a Grade 7 integer game that uses a number line to model repeated addition with positive and negative values. Players move hero counters away from zero as spinner results are added to the current position, working toward opposite ends of the number line. The movement gives students a visual way to connect integer sums with direction, sign, and distance from zero.

Use it for partner practice when students are learning to add integers and need a concrete reference for why a sum moves left or right on the number line.
