Increase or Decrease is a Grade 7 percent-change game where students build two numbers from cards and calculate the percent of change from the first value to the second. Each round can represent an increase or a decrease, so students must decide how the values relate before carrying out the calculation. A board-and-counter format gives the computation a clear game goal.
