Inequality Maze
inequalities · solving one-step and two-step inequalities
To solve one-step and two-step inequalities [7.EE.B.4b].
Inequality Maze is a Grade 7 puzzle game where solving inequalities reveals the only valid path from Start to Finish. Each square contains a one-step or two-step inequality, and students choose the connected path labeled with the correct solution before moving to the next problem. Because each board has one solution path, a wrong algebraic step sends the player in the wrong direction.
Use it for partner or small-group practice when students can solve inequalities but need more repetition and self-checking. The maze format makes each answer immediately meaningful and encourages students to revisit work when the path breaks down.
