LET’S HUNT is a Grade 8 number-sense game for distinguishing rational numbers from irrational numbers. Students work through cards filled with different numerical forms, marking rational values one way and irrational values another before moving to the next card. The repeated classification pushes students to look beyond surface appearance and decide whether each number can be represented as a ratio of integers.
