Let’s Write a Story

Let’s Write a Story is a Grade 4 divisibility activity that turns multiples into a creative writing constraint. Each group draws a number such as 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11 and writes a story containing a required set of unique numbers divisible by that value. The challenge makes students generate and recognize multiples while using them naturally inside a shared story.

Use it for small-group review when you want divisibility work to involve explanation and creativity rather than only calculation.
