MAKE 4

multiplication · multiplying by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6

To multiply by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 [3.OA.C.7].

MAKE 4 is a Grade 3 multiplication game that uses two dice to generate basic multiplication facts. Players multiply the rolled values, say the product, and cover the matching number on a shared game board. The first player to connect four covered products horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins, so every fact also becomes a board-position decision.

Use it for partner practice when students are working on multiplication facts with factors from 1 through 6. The shared board makes it easy for players to check one another’s products before a counter is placed. Create a free Find a Math Game account to generate lesson support for MAKE 4. No credit card is required, and the free account includes 3 lifetime lesson generations.
