Million Digit Showdown is a Grade 4 place-value game where students build the greatest possible 7-digit number one digit at a time. Each new digit must be placed in an empty column from Millions through Ones, so every turn requires a strategic place-value decision. Once the number is complete, students read it aloud, write it in standard, word, and expanded form, and compare it with the other players’ numbers.
