Multi-Sum Snap

mixed operations · factors and multiples · addition fluency and multiples

Collect the most cards by being the first to spot when the running total of all flipped cards is a multiple of the target number.

Multi-Sum Snap is an addition-and-multiples card game for Grades 3–5. Players keep a shared running total as cards are flipped, and anyone can call “Snap!” when the total becomes a multiple of the target number chosen at the start. The game combines mental addition with divisibility thinking because students must track the sum and recognize multiples at the same time.

Use it in a small group when students are fluent enough with addition to pay attention to number patterns in the running total. Changing the target number from 2 through 10 makes it easy to focus on different multiples. Create a free Find a Math Game account to generate teacher-ready lesson support for Multi-Sum Snap.
