Numerous Numbers Game

Numerous Numbers Game is a Grade 2 place-value activity where three dice digits are rearranged to create all six possible three-digit numbers. Students record the six permutations, order them from least to greatest, and represent each number with pictures, standard notation, and expanded form. One roll therefore generates a full set of connected place-value comparisons.

Use it for independent work when students are learning how digit position changes a number’s value.
