OPERATION FRAC-RACE is a Grade 5 fraction board game that mixes addition, subtraction, and multiplication. A player’s board position determines the operation, then four cards are used to build two fractions and complete the calculation. Since the denominators and numerators change every turn, students must decide how to handle like and unlike denominators and then simplify their result when appropriate.
