ORDERING is a Grade 4 decimal game for arranging several decimals from least to greatest or greatest to least. Players draw four number cards, roll a die to determine the ordering direction, and place the decimals correctly on their game sheet. The changing direction makes students attend to decimal magnitude instead of memorizing one routine.
Use it for partner or small-group review when students are comparing decimals and working with place value to determine order.
