Plus and Minus War

Plus and Minus War is an integer card game for Grades 6–7. Each player flips two cards, treats black values as positive and red values as negative, adds the pair, and compares sums; the greater sum wins the cards. Tied sums trigger a War round, adding more signed-number practice without changing the core rules.

Use it for partner work when students are learning to add positive and negative integers mentally.
