Puzzling Order is a Grade 6 order-of-operations puzzle where students place 16 numbers into a grid so eight horizontal and vertical expressions equal given target answers. Operators are already fixed, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, exponents, and parentheses, so students must reason backward about which numbers can make each expression work.
