QUOTIENT CLASH is a fraction-division card game for Grades 5–6 where players can choose which fraction will be the dividend and which will be the divisor. Each player flips two cards, builds two fractions, chooses the order that produces the strongest quotient, divides by multiplying by the reciprocal, and compares results. The order choice adds strategy because a ÷ b and b ÷ a can be very different.
Use it for partner work when students are practicing fraction division and simplifying quotients. Ask students to predict which order should give the larger result before calculating.
