Subtraction Fishin’ is a Grade 1 card game for matching subtraction facts that have the same difference. Students discard matching pairs from their hands, then ask another player for a card with a specific difference—such as “Give me a 6.” Successful matches are shown and removed, while unsuccessful requests send the player to draw from the deck.
