SUBTRACTION WAR is a Grade 1 partner game for subtracting within 10 and comparing differences. Each player flips two cards, subtracts the smaller value from the larger, and compares the result. In this version, the smaller difference wins the round; tied differences trigger a War with bonus cards and a second subtraction challenge.
