Tessellations (Part 3)

Tessellations (Part 3) is a Grade 8 extension activity that moves tessellation design into digital tools. After completing the earlier hands-on tessellation work, students use tessellation software to create their own repeating graphics and designs. The activity focuses on applying transformation and tiling ideas creatively rather than introducing a new paper-and-pencil procedure.
