To sort shapes in a Venn diagram

VENN is a Kindergarten sorting game where students classify cut-out shapes into Venn diagrams. Each game board gives a different sorting condition, and players work through their boards at the same time, placing every shape in the appropriate region. Completed boards are set aside and cannot be changed before checking.

Use it for partner work when children are learning to sort by attributes and understand overlapping categories. Ask students to explain one shape placed in the intersection so the meaning of “both” becomes clear. Create a free Find a Math Game account to generate teacher-ready lesson support for VENN. No credit card is required, with 3 lifetime lesson generations.
