Where Am I?: Integer Number Line

Where Am I?: Integer Number Line is a Grade 6 activity for placing signed numbers accurately on a scaled number line. Students work with integer cards and a line from -25 to 25 marked in intervals of 5, then place each value where it belongs. Variations change the scale or turn the activity into alternating partner turns.

Use it for partner or independent practice when students are connecting integer magnitude with position.
