WRAP UP is a Grade 2 domino game for adding two to four two-digit numbers. Students fill a board with dominoes, then use the direction of yellow triangles to determine whether each group of numbers should be added vertically or horizontally. Every completed triangle produces a new sum from the surrounding domino values.
Use it for partner practice when students are adding several two-digit numbers and need attention to both place value and layout. Because students choose how to orient the dominoes before solving, each board can produce a different set of addition problems.
